CHARACTERS
The challenge on this project was to create around 8 characters in a very short amount of time. All the biped rigs and some of the facial modules were done with the first version of my automation tools.
Polishing and fixes were done by hand.
Also, I encapsulated some of the character variations in the same rig file, to avoid doing maintenance and fixes to multiple assets.
EYE RIG
The eyes in all the characters don’t have corners, and the eyelids wrap around the eyeball. This creates a very particular behavior. The rig was built with some scripted modules, skinning and corrective blendshapes.
